Canada, your vote can help decide who performs at Japan Festival CANADA 2026!

From 161 artists and groups across Japan, only 6 finalists remain.

Japan Festival CANADA is proud to collaborate with OTOGULA on a special music audition project to discover the next Japanese artists who will take the stage in Canada.

After careful review by the selection committee, music industry professionals, and professional composers, 16 acts advanced through the first round, and 6 acts were selected for the second round.

Now, the final audition will be held live to choose the two artists/groups who will perform at Japan Festival CANADA 2026.

The live stream is free to watch, and fans will also be able to vote for the artists they would like to see perform on stage in Canada.

Your support matters.
Your vote matters.
And your voice can help bring new Japanese music talent to Canada.

Here’s another hint about our mystery Headliner coming to Japan Festival CANADA 2026.

She is a voice actress and artist from one of Japan’s most beloved anime projects. Known not only for her role in anime, but also for her powerful live performances and solo activities. Her voice has reached fans across Japan, North America, and beyond.

This summer, she will take the stage at Mississauga Celebration Square 📍
