Meet Christine Carr

Christine is an award-winning performer, trained in step dance, tap, jazz, ballet, and theatre. She is thrilled to be part of ECTC 2021 and back up on stage! Her performances are set to reimagine the tradition of Ottawa Valley Step Dance, celebrating its iconic fast footwork and fiddle soundtrack through a unique, exciting, and contemporary lens.

You can catch Christine’s high energy performance tomorrow night at 8pm at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga.

Welcome to the stage: Christian Chopp ⭐️

His improvised solo will be Stompin At The Savoy, accompanied by Donavon LeNabat 🎶.

Christian told us: I chose this tune, oddly enough, because I found myself humming it at a slower tempo at work and haven’t been able to get it out of my head since. I’m hoping to continue to gain more experience and appreciation for working with live music.
