The Studio Paint Bar- Pop-Up Paint Parties and Events

Seeing The Studio Paint Bar featured in print today made me reflect on the journey of my studio, my team, and every single person who helped bring this dream to life.

The Studio was never just mine. It was built alongside an incredible team of talented local artists and operations staff who truly became the heART of it all. They are the reason it worked. I miss them deeply, and I will always be proud of what our tiny but mighty team accomplished together through the highs, the challenges, the awards, the amazing reviews, and even the hardest pandemic days.

In 2023, I made the difficult decision to close our doors because my parents needed me, my children needed me, and being present for my family became the priority. It was the hardest decision of my career, but also the right one. I’m now back to my 9-5 passion of project management in Finance and also…

What makes me so happy is knowing The Studio still lives on through curated paint night pop-ups across the GTA with members of my former team whenever we have the chance to create together again ❤️🎨

And while The Studio may have closed its physical doors, the ART in my heART continues through my role as a Director on the Board of the Art Gallery of Mississauga (). Supporting a charitable organization whose mission is to bring art to the community and make creativity accessible to all is something I deeply believe in. It means so much to continue championing the arts, supporting artists, and helping create meaningful community connections through creativity.

Different Studio, Same Vibe!✨Paint parties were always my passion and I miss teaching them so much now that The Studio has been closed! That is why I’m so grateful to Visual Arts Mississauga for giving me the opportunity to keep painting with all of you!
🎨I’m bringing our signature “Show me the Monet!!” paint party to Visual Arts Mississauga’s beautiful studios at Riverwood park and I hope to make you fall in love with the ART inside your heART!

It is with a mix of deep sadness and gratitude that we share this message with you all.

After much reflection and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close The Studio Paint Bar. This business had been a dream come true—we created a space where creativity flourished, friendships blossomed, and countless cherished memories were made.

However, as life often reminds us, family must come first. We are first and foremost, a family-run small business. In recent times, we have faced challenges with illness and the joys and demands of raising little ones. These moments have called us to focus on the ones who mean the most to us, and so we are stepping away from this beloved business to prioritize our family’s health and well-being.

Over the years, we’ve built something truly beautiful—a brand that shared ART from the heART with over 150,000 people and counting.

We hired an exceptional group of talented artists, bartenders, creatives and event specialists and management that made The Studio incredible. Together we created an incredible little art space that survived a pandemic and continued to exist outside it’s walls in both virtual and mobile forms- spreading art, art history and wine appreciation throughout the world- sometimes sending kits and sessions as far as Switzerland, India and Alaska!

It has all been because of all of you. You have been the soul of The Studio Paint Bar, and we are so grateful to have shared this journey with you.

We still have a few private events booked, which will go on as planned, and two more public paint parties before we close at the end of this month.

We hope you’ll join us one last time (or twice!) to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together.

We hope to make these final moments as vibrant as the paintings we’ve created together.
