I have been waiting a while to post this Llama. I was chosen to test this Lindsay Llama pattern by the talented Valerie from . It is my favourite amigurumi I have made so far. I have recently came across one of my top favourite amigurumi pattern books to date by and my mom couldn’t help herself but start on her first iconic lady Queen Elizabeth II. Each pattern is paired with a blurb as to why they were considered for this book and how they changed the world.

Long before children are able to connect letter shapes to letter sounds they can create stories with toys. Pairing up toys with books can promote literacy and extends reading into play.
When I came across this adorable pattern tester call from I knew I had to apply and was so happy to have been selected. This is the perfect little toy to make or gift especially if paired up with this classic children’s books ( one of my favourites as a child). Thank you again for such a lovely pattern!

This beautiful unicorn doll pattern by .designs has been one of my favourite patterns to make so far. This doll in particular was made into a crystal healing doll by creating a little heart pillow pocket to hold various crystals to be switched in and out. For those who aren’t familiar with crystal healing, crystals are all about energy. They can be used for meditation, manifestations, crystal gridding, chakra alignment, & reminding you to live in the present moment. Each stone has various healing properties you can incorporate into your daily life. Rose quartz for example promotes self-love and self compassion. Sometimes we need that little reminder of magic and thought what better way to store these then in a magical unicorn doll.
