Fraser Valley Academy of Dance provides exceptional training specializing in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Since opening in 2008, FVAD students have been accepted into the full-time professional programs at Canada's National Ballet School, Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet School, School of Alberta Ballet, Randolph Academy of Performing Arts and the Rambert School of Ballet a

nd Contemporary Dance, as well as numerous summer intensives. With over 90 invitations, FVAD is achieving its goal of becoming a renowned training centre enabling students to enter major company schools on their way to professional dance careers. Offering a Pre-Professional Academy, Summer Sessions, annual Nutcracker, and an International Student Program, FVAD provides varied training year-round.

Congratulations to FVAD dancers Victoria and Raira!

Both performed beautifully at Surrey Festival this past week.

Victoria earned 2nd place for her variation, and Raira placed 3rd for both her solo set and her variation. We’re so proud of your hard work and dedication, fantastic job dancers!

We’re also excited to share that more festival opportunities are coming this fall. If you’re interested, stay tuned for more details!
