Calum Lykan Storytelling

Behind the Stories.

My desk is always its own unique eco system of chaos prior to a show. Old stories being checked, new stories being learned. Projects im working on, crumbs, cold cups of tea, a bijillion pieces of scrap paper with random notes and thoughts on, media recording equipment etc etc.......

Just don't ask for the rest of the office, today it is a Health and safety nightmare, I may have tripped over my pirate chest, bhoran, camera tripods, buckets of recording equipment and one Halloween cat plushy for too many times already.

See you all tonight at Wilson’s Point Historic Site in the Graveyard.

SPOOKY SEASON IS UPON US!!!!!!

You can hunt me down over the weekend in Graveyards and churches telling Ghostly and Gruesome tales.

And if you miss that there I still have a slot or two available before Halloween and after.

And if you miss that there is the Scottish Bedtime Stories cd available to ddelight your lugs.

And then there is the wee project im working on, I'd hoped it would out well before Halloween and then we all got sick. It shall be out before if all goes well and I shall announce it when it happens. Just a silly wee fun project.

While Hunting the Haggis I was approached by a fine gentleman who posed a simple question to me.

Why had I stopped writing?

This threw me a little because in reality I really only thought it was my wife who was reading them out of obligation and that poor wee lassie has to put up with me thundering through the house regularly.

So this Blog is dedicated to that fine Gent who was a regular weekly reader and of course to my magnificent lady, who supports all my crazy.

A Blog About Blogs, a Haggis Hunt, and the Unexpected Joy of Discovering Someone Is ListeningThere is a peculiar kind of madness involved in writing a blog. You sit yourself down, usually with a cup of tea that will inevitably go cold, stare at a blank screen, and begin pouring out whatever thoughts....
