The Rhythm Ensemble is a pre-professional youth tap dance company, founded by Juliana Kelly in 2016. Dedicated to providing unique training and performance opportunities to youth tap dancers, our focus is on technique, history, improvisation, working with live music, and providing a safe space for dancers to explore their own artistry and voice. Thank you to everyone who came out to our company auditions last Thursday! We were so humbled to see so many incredible dancers interested in being part of The Rhythm Ensemble.

Putting yourself out there takes courage, and we’re so grateful to every dancer who walked through those doors, took a chance, and shared their talent with us.

Heading into our last class of the term and of the season, we can’t wait to welcome Joanne Baker to the studio tonight. Joanne will be working with our Pre-Professional division tonight for their professional development session exploring Vernacular Jazz. What a way to end the season!

The Rhythm Ensemble had the privilege of performing in TRI Explores The Music Of Ray Brown this past Sunday, sharing the stage with extraordinary dancers and musicians. We’re leaving the weekend feeling deeply inspired, challenged, and grateful for every moment.
