Look forward to our participation:)
Introducing our next artist, Punita Nanda. She would like to share a little bit about herself and her art with you,
"I want to begin by saying that society and culture don’t make people. It’s the people who make society and culture. On that note, I want to introduce myself as a creative, artistic, enthusiastic woman who believes that you don’t wait for opportunities to knock at your door you are the opportunity!
A working professional with a background in International Trade and Business Development I have been working for last the 17 years in different domains but one thing which is same in all these 17 years is my passion to believe in myself. Art is one such important subject that brings me closer to my passion.
Being a woman and having worked in International Teams I have witnessed the three pillars for Her Voice which is Equality, Diversity and Empowerment. Every woman of any caste, religion or background has this beautiful voice that needs to be heard and respected.
A self-taught artist, I enjoy exploring and learning new forms of art. I do art to be happy and share my happiness with others. No art is too big or too small, art is your way to express, which is your right. There is no age to learn art and so I think I am still learning and enjoying every joy that art brings with it.
In the end, I would like to quote Melinda Gates, “ Women with a voice is a definition of strong women.”
Join us on the 18th and 19th of December at 2 pm on our page or our YouTube channel for some beautiful art and stories from women artists in the community!
