This letter is dedicated to ultimate paintball and all those who came and played at our field.
Good morning to all my beloved Zombieland zombies and Friends. I ask of you to please take the time to read what I have written something just for you that has been long over due.
To all of our zombie friends who Paulina and I owe everything to you who helped made Zombieland become today.
It all started at Ultimate paintball where I played this sport for the first time and I fell in love with this irresistible chronic passion for this sport. Ultimate paintball staff showed their unconditional love and dedicated passion throughout the day playing with my best friend. The bar was set high desperately wanting to be a part of something turely amazing. The staff at U.P made my first time playing in this sport so memorable it feels as if it was only hours ago I walked off the field with a smile ear to ear fist pumping & chest bumping unable to contain the overwhelming excitement playing paintball all day. Thank you for showing me and introducing me into the sport pulling many down with me as I so desperately want to share with friends and strangers what you so unconditionally shared with me on my very first day of playing paintball with my friend.
To the staff. I love you and I love all of you. I am ever so grateful for that day.
Bursting through the door when I got home yelling and screaming with joy & laughter from the day playing at U.P I screamed “I want to build a small little paintball field at the top of the hill followed by an eye roll from Paulina. I could hear her thoughts of “here we go again with another of Michaels hyper focused ideas). Ultimate paintball showed me something that I needed to be a part of wanting to share this experience with everyone who crosses my path. The bar was set and my work began to build a small personal paintball field at the top of the property. From there I played at Ultimate paintball as many times I could all summer long groping to relive my first time experience of playing paintball for the very first time and I did, a 2nd time, a 3rd time, and 10 times. Every time I played at Ultimate paintball my first time experience of this sport was relived each and every time I played there. That in itself is priceless and there are able to provide that experience every time I showed up that day. Paulina and I met many other paintball players who also shared this new found passion who are very close friends to this day when it all started 10 years ago. Davis Gailitis &David Panunto and his group of weekend paintball warriors accepted Paulina and I into their group. TO all the dedicated, compassionate hard worked staff at Ultimate paint ball. Be proud of yourselves and of each other for all that you have done and accomplished. I am present, I am here for you, I love you and I love all of you. I cannot and will not stop thanking you enough for all that you did and still do for those who come to play at your field.
Because of that I had this chronic urge to continue the staff’s work that they do with the paintball community at ultimate paintball.
With Paulina feeling my uncontrollable excitement for this sport she knew there was no stopping me. The best thing a partner could do is provide her compassion and unconditional loving support and she did just that. I love this woman so much. Zombieland paintball was born and my work began. As she saw my relentless amount of energy I was putting in creating this personal field Paulina was beginning to see my vision and feel my compassion I want to provide for other people so they do could have that most amazing wonderful first time playing paintball experience. She was all in and I Mean 110% all in to help me on my vision. My vision became our vision making us an unstoppable force to bring Zombieland paintball to all of you. I thank all of you from the deepest regions of my heart for giving Paulina and I the chance to share what we experienced with you asking a chance to go play at some strangers random back yard make s**t paintball field that started with a few hay bales as cover. Since that day I never stopped once to improve the field to do my best to provide you the best experience playing on a paintball field with friends and strangers. This motivation and inspiration is dedicated to Ultimate Paintball that started it all. Then all of YOU came out to our first attempt of a make shift field further amplifying my motivation and inspiration to do better and not stop until I reached the bar Ultimate paintball showed me. From there the people of zombie land who gave us the chance to play at our field giving us the chance to do just that. Paulina and I have made wonderful and close friends, share great times, awesome glorified battles, good food that she was always excited to prepare for you so you never went hungry throughout the day. The 100 pounds of homemade chilly over the years and sausages brought us all together. Your dedication and help has not gone UN noticed. The times we had our cover build day of hard work building the field with new cover, the weeks when all of volunteered to help us clean up the properly after the devastating ice storm that destroyed the paintball field. All of you without a thought stepped up and gave your time and energy to repair and clean up not only the field buy our personal property away from the field. What all you did was priceless and I could never repay you enough for all that you have done. Some of my best times throughout my life were with you playing paintball and I thank every single one of you for being a part of the Skora family through this journey. I am present, I am here for you and I love you. I love all of you.
In the coming days will be a follow up post regarding my current situation. However it was extremely important to express my gratitude how much you all mean to me and Paulina. In this moment this is not about me this is all about you. All of you gave your unconditional love and support to grow this field without hesitation. You are all so deserving of this and be so ever proud of what all you have done.
