Friday Morning: Primary, Beginner, Novice, and Intermediate events, followed by Restricted and Premier National competitions.

Saturday (Starting at 8:00 AM): Pre-Premier and Pre-Championship competitions, immediately followed by the prestigious Glengarry Highland Games Open Championship! 🏆

I was extremely honoured to win this award this year and am excited to have my name added to this trophy beside so many other incredible Ontario teachers who have won it previously.

Fun fact:
When my dance teacher, Delma Wilson, moved to Scotland in 1993 this trophy was donated to the Ontario Closed Championship as she had so many successful years teaching in Ontario.

Thank you JS Dancers for trusting me with your training & working so hard 💜 I share this award with all of you

Super proud of all the JS dancers who competed at the Ontario Closed Championship.

Always a full day of super dancing from all Ontario dancers!

The top 3 winners in each group go on to represent Ontario at the Canadian Championships.

JS Dancers enjoyed their day at the Anna Cann Memorial Competition in Guelph.

Pre-Premiers gained more stamps in very talented groups. Way to go! 👏👏👏

Special congratulations to Alyssa - overall winner in her Premier group and to Caris who is new to Premier and placed in all dances plus a 5th overall in the Blue Bonnets all ages Special Dance off 🙌

Premier dancers - we need you! We don't have Championships in a couple of our age classes at the new Lakeshore Championship at Northumberland Scottish Festival & Highland Games.

Port Hope is only 3 hours from Ottawa, Cornwall, and London. It's about 3.5 hours from Owen Sound and just under 3 hours from Niagara Falls. The Championship is scheduled for the afternoon so you don't even need a hotel room.

Please come out and support this great local Games and inaugural Championship. Registration is online at www.hdaontario.com (click on Events under the Events tab). You do not need to be an HDAO Member to compete.

Registration closes this Friday June 5 at 10pm.
