🍂🎃 Happy Saturday, everyone, from The Ink Pad! 🎃🍂

Sometimes you’re feeling a little under the weather and just need to take a ME DAY. 🩷 Take a break, slow down, and give yourself permission to rest. But when those crafty squirrels in your head refuse to switch off… well, you know how that goes! 🐿️😂

So, what do you do? Head straight to your folder of free downloads, of course! 🍁✂️

Today, I decided to put those crafty squirrels to work and created some quick, cute little fall and Halloween tag folders using some wonderful free downloads! 👻🧡🍂

A big thank-you to Mean Kitty Journals and Lenny’s Paper Treasures for sharing these fabulous freebies with the crafting community! 💕 There’s always something fun to create, even when you’re taking it easy.

🎃🖤 Here is the finished Halloween Folio! 🖤🎃

This little cutie was made using the FREE downloadable ephemera from The Happiness Brigade, and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! 👻🕷️

The finished folio measures 4½” x 7” and is just the perfect little Halloween project. It is absolutely adorable and so cute! 🎃🧡

🎃🖤 Welcome to What’s Up Wednesday here at The Ink Pad! 🖤🎃

Today we’re playing with Days 3 & 5 from the Hero Arts Heroween 13 Days of Crafty Treats kit! 👻

We’re creating a spooky little scene featuring a creepy castle and some adorable kitties! 🏰🐈‍⬛ And because it’s Halloween crafting… we’re going to make a little bit of a mess with some fun splattering, too! 🖤✨

🎃🖤 Here is the finished card from my video earlier! 🖤🎃

This spooky creation was made using the Stamperia Junk Journal Halloween Edition, and I absolutely love how it turned out! 👻🦇✨

The finished card measures 5” x 7”. For the card base, I cut my cardstock to 10” x 7”, scored at 5” along the 10” side, then folded and burnished the crease.

I added a cardstock layer that was 1/8” smaller, followed by my patterned paper, which was cut another 1/8” smaller.

From there, it was time to have some fun! I arranged all of my Halloween elements where I wanted them, then added a little Glaze & Glue to the bats and windows for some extra shine. ✨🦇 I also added some sparkly stars and finished everything off with a bit of splattering for that extra spooky, magical touch! ⭐🖤

I love how a few simple details can take a card from cute to spooktacular! 🎃

Today we’re diving into the spooky side of crafting with a Stamperia Halloween Junk Journal Edition! 👻🕷️

We’re creating a 5” x 7” Halloween card using some of the fabulous elements from the Stamperia Halloween Junk Journal book. A little paper, a little spooky magic, and a whole lot of crafty fun! 🎃🖤✨

Because who says junk journals are only for journals? Let’s turn those gorgeous pieces into a hauntingly fun card! 🦇💀
