We can’t believe our 2026 summer season has already come to an end! ☀️🎭 Over the past 4+ months, it’s been non-stop action at the office and farm - rehearsing, building sets, making costumes, spreading the word, and everything in between to bring these stories to life. We are so honoured to have brought two incredible shows to the 4th Line Theatre stage again this summer. A huge congratulations to the casts, crews, and creative teams behind Leanna Brodie’s “Schoolhouse”, directed by Monica Dottor, and Megan Murphy’s “Wild Irish Geese”, directed by Kim Blackwell. This season was truly a special one, and everyone involved helped make it so. We are deeply grateful for you all. ❤️

MADE IT TO THE FINAL NIGHT!🇮🇪✨🎭 “Wild Irish Geese” will take its final bow tonight @ 6 PM at 4th Line Theatre. There are still some tickets available, BUT make sure to book yours soon to ensure you can get a seat! To get last-minute tickets to tonight’s show, call the box office until 3 pm OR drop by the on-site box office (Winslow Farm, 779 Zion Line, Millbrook, ON) between 4:00-5:30 pm to purchase your tickets at the farm.‼️

“Wild Irish Geese” is the story of Irish settlers and their journey to the Peterborough region. Peter Robinson was the architect of an 1820s emigration plan which saw thousands of Irish families come to Canada to escape the brutal poverty which they were facing in Ireland. Eventually over 2,000 impoverished Irish settled in Scotts Plains, later renamed Peterborough and began their lives anew. These new Canadians planted deep roots in the Peterborough area and have thousands of descendants both locally and across the globe.
