Playwell Bricks is your exclusive design service using LEGO bricks to build your dreams.

Playwell Bricks began as way to encourage children to be more creative with their LEGO bricks. Through that its founder, Jason Pyett, became more creative with his own designs which, led to him becoming a commission LEGO designer. Over the past two years his designs have become so popular he has gathered a team of very talented individuals to help him keep designing the impossible. We offer a variety of service for our clients including LEGO design, instruction creation, custom part design, 3D LEGO animation, printed stickers or bricks and more :)

The Client
Rolling Wireless, the world’s leading supplier of cellular network access devices (N**s) to the automotive industry

The Ask
A 2-in-1 car build to demonstrate the flexibility of their NAD software platform.

How We Did It
The car is built from bricks that match the Rolling Wireless brand shade of blue, with subtle differences allowing the builder to choose from two different styles of the car to build. Decals brand the cars with the Rolling Wireless logo and NAD Software Platform, and marketing content in the Build Instructions links this experience to the flexibility of the platform.

The Client
Salisbury University, located in the state of Maryland and celebrating its library’s tenth anniversary

The Ask
As part of their library anniversary fundraiser, Salisbury University Libraries wanted to commission a custom-designed set of the Guerrieri Academic Commons.

How We Did It
Our designer listened carefully to the client’s ideas, studied the pictures, and soon created the first concept. The client responded with more close-ups of the staircase to better capture the look, as well as more photos of the bells and landscaping strips at the entrance. Using these images, we redesigned these sections closer to the client’s vision. The bell tower proved tricky to recreate with the needed details in miniature, so instead of a decal with just the library’s name, they could print the decal with the tower façade including the name, thus capturing the details that bricks were simply too large to showcase.

The Result
After some final details, including the marketing content Salisbury University Libraries created for the Build Instructions, Salisbury University included these custom Playwell Bricks sets in their 10th anniversary library fundraiser, offering the sets as a thank-you gift for donors of $100 or more. As an important part of the campus, this is a set that alumni will be sure to treasure and display with university pride and fond nostalgia.

The Client
Trench Group, consisting of two independent brands, Trench and HSP.

The Ask
The client explained that Trench Group was looking for tiny, custom versions of their products for their booth at the 2026 Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) trade show. In addition, they also wanted sets shipped to their international teams to use in their promotional campaigns.

How We Did It
“The main challenge was to get as much detail as possible with as few parts as possible,” designer Tim Howell explained. He worked closely with the client to get these sets right. The client studied the concepts as Tim sent them, pointing out sections where a colour should be adjusted or an important detail should be addressed.

The Result
With these three custom-designed sets, Trench Group has promotional giveaways for both HSP and Trench to use at their trade shows and conferences around the world. By including marketing content in the build instructions, they’ll also have the chance to re-engage their potential clients after the trade show ends, creating memories that will keep HSP and Trench in client’s minds for a long time to come.

The Client
Eni, an integrated energy company

The Ask
ENI had been engaged in a major liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in the coastal Republic of Congo. Entering phase 2 of their Congo LNG project marked a major milestone of this project, and one that ENI wanted to commemorate with a custom set of this second vessel, named the Nguya FLNG, as the subject for a holiday gift.

How We Did It
The greatest challenge in recreating such a vessel in miniature is the vast amount of piping required to truly represent the vessel’s function and purpose, that can be difficult to translate into miniature. Our designer focused on some of the more prominent structures and compressing the rest. Beyond the design of the custom set itself, ENI also shared a significant amount of content to be included in the Build Instructions. This included a letter from the ENI Congo CEO, a statement of their Congo LNG project’s mission and goals, as well as infographics explaining the different parts of the vessel and their purposes.

The Result
With this custom Nguya FLNG set, ENI Congo has a meaningful, unique gift with which to commemorate entering phase 2 of their Congo LNG project. By including the company and project goals in the Build Instructions in both English and French, as well as sharing details of the vessel itself, recipients of this holiday gift will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and this company while engaged in building.

The Client
Kardex, a global leader in intralogistics, providing “an intelligent entry into automation with its dynamic storage and retrieval systems.”

The Ask
Kardex explained that they’d come across a Playwell Bricks set in the wild and wanted to have one designed for the Kardex Shuttle. In addition to trade shows, the client also wanted to use the custom-designed sets of their product as a lead magnet for the sales teams. A custom set was a convenient and ideal solution for sharing what can be a building-sized product with potential clients.

How We Did It
Our designer used a mix of System and Technic parts to allow the builder to turn a dial on the side of the Kardex Shuttle which activates a gear that “slides the front door open to the top AND moved a platform to the front,” similar to the function of the real thing.

The Result
Kardex has a portable version of their product to share with potential clients at trade shows, as well as a premium lead magnet for their European sales teams. The Playwell team produced the build instructions and packaging in English, German, Italian, and French for these teams, making this custom set truly international.
