Come hang out with us and support your neighbours! ❤️

We have over 20 amazing vendors showcasing their hobbies, talents and skills. From baking, crocheting, girl guide cookies, pottery, art and sewing to plants, clothing and so much more, there really is something for everyone!

And the Valley Graze team…
Okay, mostly just Michelle 😂… will be spending the week cooking up a BIG batch of chilli! 🌶️

🥣 Chilli will be BY DONATION, with all donations going to our local Food Bank.

Shop local. Eat some chilli. Support the Food Bank. Visit with your neighbours. Buy something handmade. ❤️

Small towns are pretty special when we show up for each other.

🚨 WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT AND QUITE FRANKLY I AM NOT HANDLING IT WELL. 🚨

Apparently FIVE yes, FIVE of our staff have decided to ABANDON Valley Graze for something called “education.” 🙄😂

High school Futures. Blah blah blah.

And somehow, OUR BABIES AREN’T BABIES ANYMORE. 😭

Three are GRADUATING this year.
Two are heading into Grade 10.
And TWO OF THEM ARE ACTUALLY MINE. 😭😂

So not only am I losing staff… I’m having a full blown mom crisis at the same time.

WHO ALLOWED THIS?!

I swear five minutes ago these kids were little, and now they’re working, driving, graduating, heading off to school and making plans for their futures like a bunch of responsible young adults.

I DID NOT APPROVE THIS GROWING UP NONSENSE.

So next weekend, Valley Graze will be CLOSED Saturday–Monday.

We’re giving these amazing humans an extra long weekend to get ready for the transition back to school.

And apparently I need the extra day to cry, look through old pictures, wonder where the time went, panic about who is covering their shifts, and dramatically announce “MY BABIES!” to anyone willing to listen. 😭😂

In all seriousness, I am ridiculously proud of these kids. Watching them work hard, grow up, become part of our Valley family and head toward some pretty amazing futures is something really special.

But I would like to formally request that they all STOP GROWING UP IMMEDIATELY.

Thank you.

So please don’t show up Saturday and press your sad little face against the window looking for coffee.

🌟 Favourite Customer Friday! 🌟

Okay, we seriously don’t know anyone kinder than Jim. ❤️

We first met Jim when he started dropping off the coolest little 3D printed dinosaurs for our customers. Little did he know, those dinosaurs would quickly become the ultimate negotiation tool for parents trying to convince their kids it was time to leave the Kids Corner. 😂🦖

Honestly, I bet Jim’s little dinosaurs are scattered in homes all across Canada by now!

But that’s just the kind of guy Jim is. He’s also shown up on hot summer days with cold treats for our staff, just because. No reason, no special occasion simply because he’s Jim. 🥹

How did we get so lucky to have customers who turn into friends like this?

Jim, thank you for your kindness, your generosity, the smiles you bring to our shop, and for supplying parents with some much needed bargaining power. 😂🦖

🎄 It feels like Christmas Eve over here!!

PETIT CREEK BREAD IS BACK AT VALLEY GRAZE TOMORROW MORNING!! 🥖🤍

We are SO happy to have Scott and Brooke back home and Petit Creek Bakery back doing what they do best.

I can’t even imagine what the last month has felt like for these two, having their home and everything they’ve worked so hard for threatened by fire, and living with that uncertainty for weeks.

We’re just so incredibly thankful they are home, safe, and baking again. ❤️

And tomorrow morning… THE BREAD IS BACK! Sandwiches back to Valley Graze standards.

And YES… they stocked us up with sausage rolls too. Or stalked us, depending on how excited we are. 😉😂

Fresh bread + Petit Creek sausage rolls = basically Christmas morning at Valley Graze.

Come grab your favourites and show this incredibly hardworking local couple some love. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who took the time to give a shout out to some of the amazing people and organizations in our community. There were so many heartwarming nominations, and reading through them honestly made our day. 🥹

I hope everyone who was nominated felt the love and appreciation they deserve!

We originally planned to choose one winner… but there were just too many deserving nominations. So, of course, we couldn’t pick just one! 😂

We loaded up TWO trays of Valley Graze goodies and dropped them off to spread a little extra love. 🍪❤️

This right here is why I love living in a small town. People notice each other. They appreciate each other. They show up for each other.

🌟 TEAM MEMBER SHOUT OUT! 🌟

Meet Kalea! 💛 (how cute is this photo)

This absolute gem joined us for our crazy summer, and even though our time with her was way too short, we are SO thankful we got to have her as part of our Valley crew!

This is Kalea’s last week hanging out with us before she starts an exciting new chapter as a teacher! 🍎📚

If your child is lucky enough to have Miss Palmer as their teacher, just know they are going to be in GREAT hands. Her kindness, patience, work ethic and beautiful personality are going to make her one incredible teacher.

Kalea, thank you for jumping into the summer chaos with us, working hard, laughing with us and becoming part of our little Valley family. We are going to miss having you around!

We are so excited to see you start this next adventure. Your future students are very lucky to have you. ❤️

Favourite Customer Friday! ☕️🤎

Meet James, aka BJ!

This guy has been hanging out with the Valley Graze Crew pretty much since the day we opened. He seems to know EVERYONE in town, always stopping to say hello, check in, and catch up with whoever walks through the door.

And when we first opened and decided it would be a great idea to put an oversized tray through the dishwasher… and got it completely stuck 😂🤦‍♀️ BJ was right there helping us figure out how the heck to get it out.

Thanks for being part of the Valley Crew from the beginning, BJ. For the laughs, the visits, the helping hands and for always making the shop feel a little more like home. 🤎

So let’s do something small to lift everyone up. 🍪

Valley Graze wants to deliver a fruit and sweets tray to an amazing local organization, business, service provider or team but YOU get to decide who deserves them!

Think about a great customer service experience you’ve had lately. Maybe it was:
🍴 A restaurant that went above and beyond
🩺 A doctor’s office or nurse who made your day easier
🏦 A bank teller who was extra helpful
🦷 A dental office that always takes great care of you
🌿 A landscaping crew working their butts off in this heat
☕ A local business that always makes you feel welcome
❤️ Or somewhere completely different!

Sometimes the people who quietly show up every day and make our community better deserve a little reminder that their hard work is noticed.

Wait… people actually have a life outside of Valley Graze?! WHAT?! 😂🤯

I wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to Linden! He took on his first solo catering event outside of the shop and absolutely KILLED IT! 👏🔥

It’s one thing to see him crushing it at work every day, but watching him step out, do his own thing, and absolutely nail it makes me so freaking proud.

He planned it, prepped it, pulled it all together and proved that all that hard work and experience is paying off. 💪

Way to go, Linden! First solo catering event in the books and definitely not the last! 👏🖤

Apparently we do occasionally let our team out into the real world. 😂

Meet Don & Lynn!

These two have been part of the Valley Graze story. They’ve watched us grow, change, expand, learn as we go and through it all, they’ve continued to walk through our doors and support us.

There’s something extra special about the customers who believed in you right from the beginning. The familiar faces who become part of the everyday rhythm of the shop and, somewhere along the way, start to feel a whole lot more like friends than customers.

And Lynn isn’t just a familiar face around here you’ll also find her beautiful, one of a kind handmade jewelry for sale right here in the shop! Each piece is unique, and we love being able to showcase her creativity while supporting another local maker. ✨

Don & Lynn, thank you for being two of those people who have been cheering Valley Graze on since we met you. We appreciate you more than you know. 🤎
