Hey dance parents,

Another successful year at ARDG has come to a close.

We will be having our year end meeting on Mon April 25th at 7pm at the Legion.

We will be electing a new executive at this meeting and brain storming about an new teacher.

A reminder that today is the dance windup at the theatre from 4-6. There will be drinks, snacks and pizza. $5 extra for siblings. See you there!

Our recital is now upon us! Be ready to "KEEP CALM AND DANCE ON" on Sunday starting at 2 o'clock! Door opens at 1:30. Please take your dancers to the back door at 1:30. There will be door prizes, 50/50 and flowers for sale.

Ok folks! Have an update on the changing scenario for the Virden Festival:

Groups 1,2 &3 will be able to change in the AUD, where they normally do. All group 1 parents, the AUD is located on Wellington, just ask, and they will show you where to change. Remember to get your child to go to the washroom before they go on.

Groups 4,5 &6, will be changing at the Legion Hall (corner of Wellington & 8) which is a half block from the AUD.

Can't wait to see all the dancers shine!😁😁

As we wind down another successful year I have a few dates for you to write down:

Virden Festival at the AUD in Virden on Wednesday, March 16/16 & Thursday, March 17/16.

March 16/16

Group 1 - We're Knights - TAP - 2:15pm

Group 2 - Lolly pop - BALLET (creative dance) 11:00
Got the Wiggles (Bobs & Lolo)TAP 2:15pm

Group 3 - Let it go - BALLET - 11:00
Peppermint Twist - TAP- 3:15

Group 4 - Black & White - TAP - 6:00
I'm your girl - JAZZ - 7:15

Group 5 - Drag Me Down - TAP - 6:00
Stitches - JAZZ - 7:15

Group 6 - Grown - TAP - 6:45
Can't Stop Dancing - JAZZ - 8:00

Also, we recently received an email stating that Groups 1 & 2 are to change at the AUD upstairs as per usual, but from Group 3 & up has to change at a building (about a block away) to avoid congestion. Building details to follow.

March 17/16 - SOLO'S

March 20/16 - DANCE RECITAL IN MELITA - 2:00 PM

There will be flowers to purchase to give to your dancers, 50/50, and Door prizes. Please be there by 1:30 and enter through the back of the theatre, drop your dancer off and the parent helper will get them dressed. Parent helpers, please make sure that the kids have used the washroom.

March 23/16 - DANCE WINDUP - 4:00 - 6:00 PM

At the Theatre snacks, drinks and pizza provided, will be a cost of $5 for siblings.
