WEAVING CLASS
Are you curious about weaving? This introductory course is perfect for beginners. You’ll learn the basics of floor loom weaving, including how to set up a loom, understand simple patterns, and create your own woven fabric. No prior experience is required — just an interest in fibre and a willingness to learn. By the end of the course, you’ll have a finished piece and the confidence to continue exploring weaving.

Costs: $270 for non-members (supplies included) members rate is also available
Dates: August 8/9, 15/16, 22/23 2026 (six classes over three weekends)
Times: 10 am - 3 pm
Location: Fibre Arts Studio, located in Room CC167 of the Cultural Centre
Class size: limited to 5 students
