More time to dance, practice, create and work on the things YOU want to work on!

We’re excited to open up our studio for dancers who just want a little extra time and space to do their thing!

✨ Run your solo (for the 100th time 😂)
✨ Clean up choreography
✨ Work on technique
✨ Stretch and improve flexibility
✨ Improvise, create or just DANCE!

And the best part? It’s FREE for all registered LimeLitez dancers! 💚

No studio rental fees. No extra class fees. Just more opportunities to do what you love!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It’s pretty simple! Show up, find some space and work on whatever you’d like.

A teacher will be at the studio to keep an eye on things, but this isn’t a structured class or private lesson. It’s independent practice time, where dancers get to set their own goals and work at their own pace.

For safety, skills requiring spotting won’t be permitted during Open Studio Time.

We love seeing dancers take ownership of their training, try new things and discover what they can accomplish with a little extra practice.

After 20 years in the dance industry, one lesson has resonated with us more than almost anything else:

Lead with kindness.

The dance world is smaller than you think. The student beside you today may become your teacher, colleague, employee, choreographer or the person who opens a door for you years from now.

You never know who your life will encounter again, when your paths will cross, or what someone may be carrying when they enter the room.

Kindness doesn’t mean lowering your standards. It doesn’t mean avoiding difficult conversations, tolerating poor behaviour or never setting boundaries.

It means choosing to lead without humiliating people.
Correct without belittling them. Include the people on your team and allow equal opportunities for everyone.
Compete without tearing others down.
Celebrate your own success without diminishing someone else’s.

People may forget the scores, trophies and placements. They will rarely forget how you made them feel.

Be ambitious. Be disciplined. Be talented. Work hard and expect excellence.

But, Lead with kindness. Always. 💚

LimeLitez officially has its glow-up. 🍋🌿✨

Miss Jerredi drew and designed this entire 30-foot mural…from every flower, lime and little sparkle to the words “Together We Grow.” Seeing something that began as an idea in her head transformed into a full wall is honestly so surreal.

A huge thank-you to for printing and installing our artwork so beautifully. They brought every detail to life, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

The studio finally feels like LimeLitez: colourful, creative, welcoming and made for growing together. 💚

There’s something pretty special about watching a dancer try something new, work through it, and realize… wait, I can do this.

These little moments are what training is all about - building strength, confidence, body awareness and a whole lot of belief in what they’re capable of.

A huge congratulations to these dancers on completing their ADAPT Advanced Jazz and Tap examinations! ADAPT International

The certificates are exciting. The results are worth celebrating. But what we’re most proud of is everything that happened before this photo.

The classes.
The corrections.
The repetition.
The moments it clicked and the moments they had to keep working.
Learning to take feedback and apply it.
Showing up prepared.
Working toward something over time.

That’s one of the reasons we value examination training at LimeLitez.

It gives our dancers a structured path to continue developing their technique, deepen their understanding of their training, and experience the satisfaction that comes from committing to a goal and seeing it through.

These are Advanced dancers doing advanced work and we are incredibly proud of the dedication that brought them here.

One day, they’re the little ones looking up to the big kids.
And somehow, they become the big kids. 🥹

They grow up in these rooms.

Through new classes, hard combinations, competitions, performances, wins, disappointments, ridiculous inside jokes and a whole lot of ordinary weeknights spent together.

And somewhere between all of that dancing… they grow up.

Not just beside each other, but with each other.

There’s something pretty special about getting to watch friendships stretch across years - and watching the little dancers who once needed someone to look up to become the ones our younger dancers are watching now.

This is so much bigger than what happens onstage. 💚

There’s a lot happening inside one little exercise. 👀

Today was our dancers’ first introduction to the Bend and Run exercise from the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus.

They’re learning to coordinate a bend and stretch with opposing arm movements, change directions, respond to the music, travel through space AND stay aware of the dancers around them.

It might look like a simple little run around the room…

But underneath it, they’re building coordination, musicality, spatial awareness, control and confidence - one layer at a time.

This is why we love structured training for our young dancers. We’re not rushing to make things look impressive.

We’re building the foundations that everything else will grow from. 💚

And sometimes, those foundations look like a whole bunch of little dancers running around a studio with a giant parachute. 😂

Sometimes the best part of dance class has nothing to do with dance.

It’s finding the friend you always sit beside.

The one you giggle with between exercises.
The one you look for when you walk into the room.
The one who cheers when you finally get something right.

They might walk into their first class hoping to learn how to dance.

And somewhere along the way, they find their people. 💚

Some of the sweetest friendships start right here on the studio floor.

Maybe they’re coming for dance.
Maybe they’ll find so much more.

Laughing with your friends.
Being a little ridiculous.
Moving because it feels good.
And leaving class happier than when you walked in.

Because we can take their training seriously without taking every moment so seriously.
