Finally reached the end of this Border Models 1/35 Merkava Mk 2D

It’s an ok kit…not the best I’ve ever worked with but the detail is off the charts so I’ll take the trade off…painted with tamiya and weathered with tamiya panel liner, a touch of oil work and Vallejo pigments.
Replaced the kit antennas with guitar strings, tied the bent one down and added the rear banners as the kit gives zero provisions for this detail
Glad it’s done and just in time for the AMMS show on the 13th

Carrying on with my ZM kick I’ve started on the awesome 1/48 Horten Ho 229…very complex and rewarding so far…this is not my scale but I just had to give it a shot!
Heat stains on the engines was accomplished by first using a bright silver and the dipping into my stash of tamiya clear colours…I used blue, red and orange and the blended everything together with a Tamiya panel liner black wash to tone it down and blend in…no onto the cockpit

My most recent completed build and what a stunner of a kit! I’m definitely sold on what zoukie Mura pack into the box!
This is the fairly recently released 1/32 Bf-109…I couldn’t bring myself to bury all the amazing detail that they provide in the box so I left the wing panels off the expose the structure and components within as well as cut away the one side of the fuselage…hope you like it as much as I do!
