While those of us in Ontario wait for some real spring weather - come on already - enjoy these Trillium Studies by Philip Craig. Not too long until we’re seeing these on the trails.

Both pieces are oil on canvas, 12” x 12” and come framed.

Many people have expressed to us how depressing it is to go by the empty windows since we closed down at 4 Sykes St.

Trust me, we are well aware 😔

When we found out that the new tenants are not coming in for March, we asked our landlord about hosting a little window show for the month. Happily he agreed 🙂

A few pieces are on view now but all pieces will be fully up by tomorrow afternoon just in time for your Saturday stroll or drive. We will have info about all the art on our website then too.

Stay tuned for the details and please be aware that this is a temporary display - we will NOT be open at this location again.

Us being goofballs on our last “official” evening outside of the gallery.

Thank you for the photos and a big thanks to all the friends, artists & patrons who were able to make time during their busy holiday season to come out and support us that evening.

It was a bonkers December (& January & part of Feb.) closing up the business - we have been pretty hermitted away most of this deep cold winter.

Now we are ready to be back out in the world again! Happy to see warmer forecasts are on the horizon and we have a fun announcement coming at the end of the week…

Yesterday I visited Grey Gallery in Owen Sound to see the “Year of the Horse” exhibition curated by Raquell Yang

It’s an interesting show with diverse styles and so many different mediums! Love seeing how different artists interpret a theme.

This is a small sample of the work on display but there are many more beautiful pieces to discover - I even have a painting in the show, which is not pictured as I am much better at promoting others work, rather than my own 😂 - so I highly suggest stopping in for a look.

Show runs until March 28th!

We definitely recognized a few of the pieces 😉

If you have a chance stop in to see this excellent work - the scale of the paintings show really well in the space - “Frequency” is on until March 3rd.

We are officially closed now but taking part of January to move out. As long as we are still working here we will keep art and the Christmas decor up in the windows.

Most artists have picked up their work but anything still on display is still available for purchase including all pieces by Philip Craig and Shannon Craig Morphew. DM, email or call to inquire.

We had planned to be open today for art pick-up but due to the weather we will be closed.

We will be open tomorrow (Tuesday Dec. 30) from 11-3. Have emailed everyone I was possibly expecting but if you are an artist wanting to pick-up your work and can’t come tomorrow, please email or DM and we can schedule something for January.

For those who celebrate, we hope you had a merry and bright Christmas and you are able to have some relaxing time today🎄

We will be in the gallery on Dec. 29th and 30th from 11-3 for artists to pick up their work, and anyone else to come say hi/bye or get a boxing week deal 😉
