Working on some examples for this sketchbook class that I’m running. Values are achieved through variations of colour. It’s hard to understand it unless you sit down and practice, putting brush to paper. As always, takes time, and I love going back to my roots with this. The purple, I made awful mistakes, but then I started to push back some mushrooms, bring others forward and through progress, find my way through art I didn’t picture. I gray scaled it so you could see the values in contrast.
