Well, we survived our very first Ray Kneeland Memorial Trail Ride Poker Rally, and is was a resounding success (to us!).

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support us, and so generously donated and purchased poker hands.

I am pretty sure Dad was looking down on us, because things ran smoother than we could have ever hoped for.

The weather was absolutely glorious, and the riders were even better!

We had 27 riders both days, and our potluck supper Saturday night was unreal. I think it is safe to say we were all in a food coma after.

Jarvis Bushky, the owner of Grandma's House SK provided us with a perfect venue, and even made arrangements for homemade donuts for dessert Sat night.

We were lucky enough to have a great visit with Carla, Rob & Amberlee Baynton, and Karen Peters even brought Jackie Russell out to keep us in line on Saturday.
Barry Wall & Kammi popped out on Sunday, and Kammi even won the lowest poker hand prize on Sunday.

Just a note for directions on Hwy 16, when you turn off the hiway you need to take the first left onto 3071. It is as soon as you turn onto the Warman Grid and there is a hand written sign that says Berries in it. Once you are on the 3071 grid, you will continue straight until you come to a T-intersection. There will be another sign to turn left into the site

As our big weekend gets closer we would like to share/re-share some important details.

We will post "trailride" signs on Highway 12, Highway 16, and Range Road 3071 (Schultz Road) on Friday. Follow the "parking" signs into the open field for camping and watch for big rocks. There is a bit of grass for grazing but we suggest you still bring some hay. Well water to fill your horses pails will be available at the edge of the field, but you should bring drinking water for yourself.

All proceeds will be donated to Telemircle in Ray's name. The weekend is by donation. We will also be selling poker hands at $10/each and are available weather you are riding or not. No limit to the amount you can buy. Payouts for the top 2 hands and the worst hand.

The trail we have planned will be easy riding and will not go down to the river. The property owner has groomed some every nice trails down to and along the river, but the hills down are steep. You are welcome to enjoy these trails all weekend.

Come for the day or stay for the weekend!

Please feel free to join us even if you are a non-rider. Everyone is welcome, especially for the potluck and fire.

There is one port-a-potty on the yard with a sink.

We ask that there is no open fires at the trailers. We will be having a fire in the "cowboy bbq". We will also have the coffee pot on and propane BBQ's available for your use.

If you were every on a Telemircle Trailride with us you know that there was always had fun games play and scavenger hunts.

Potluck suppers were one of our favorites meals on the trailrides so EVERYONE is welcome to join us for a potluck supper Saturday at 6:00 pm. Bring you favorite dish.

Hey Friends of the OK Corral Sask , we have been busy planning fun games to play along the trail. We promise these games won't involve bags of women's clothing or hotdogs. If you plan on joining us, do us a favor and click the "going" button so we have a better idea of numbers.
We will be out at the property Friday night if anyone would like to arrive early.

I am sorry for the delay in posting more info. I have been having some technical difficulties. I will be posting an event once I can get things working again 😊

Dates for the ride at Aug 31 & Sept 1. You can pull in Friday Aug 30 if you’d like.

We will be hosting our event at Grandmas House SK (please click on the link above).

There is natural pasture where we will be having everyone park, so there will be some grazing, but depending on how long you are planning on camping, you may need a bit of feed.

We will have a water wagon available.

We are planning on an approx 3 hr trail ride/poker rally both Saturday & Sunday beginning at noon each day. There are some more beautiful trails that you are welcome to explore if you want more riding time.

Potluck supper will be at 6 pm on Saturday.

The big fire pit will be lit and we are hoping some of you have a some stories and talent to share.

We will be having some games during the day for anyone who is not riding to participate in if you wish.

We really want this to be a fun, family riding/camping weekend. Even if you don’t ride, please come out to visit for the afternoon or evening.

As this will be a Telemiracle fundraising event, we will be asking for donations rather than having a set cost for the weekend.
