CCCT took part in the Festival of Choirs New Year Concert with COSA Solo Artists February 21, 2026.

It was an hornour to sing with the COSA solos, St. Anne’s Anglican Church of Toronto Festival Choir, University of Toronto Allegro Student Choir. We enjoyed the performance of the Korean drum team from St. Timothy Presbyterian Church very much. The mass choir was a very pleasant experience as we can sing with so many talented singers!

Big thank you to Dr. Darryl Edwards for inviting us to the event.
Thanks to our musical director Ms. Luyao Xu and Collaborative Pianist, Vivian Ho.

CCCT wish all a Merry Christmas!

Mission Statement
• Founded in 1983, the Chinese Canadian Choir of Toronto (CCCT) enriches the cultural life of the Greater Toronto Area through diverse choral music. We celebrate Chinese traditions, perform Western classics, and embrace works representing multiple cultures and languages, using music as a bridge to connect people across communities.

• For more than four decades, CCCT has presented annual concerts and launched initiatives including open rehearsals, workshops, and international tours. Highlights include The Yellow River Cantata (1995), the Hong Kong Handover Celebration Concert (1997), and Toronto’s Millennium “Back to Nature” Concert (2000). The choir has been recognized with top honors such as Gold Medals at the Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival (1994, 1995), a Special Recognition Award from the Chinese Canadian Music Society (2004), and the Community Impact Award at the Canadian Multicultural Choral Festival (2023).

• More than a performing ensemble, CCCT is a platform for education, cultural exchange, and social connection. Looking forward, we aim to expand community music programs, engage newcomers, youth, and seniors, and strengthen partnerships with local and international choirs — contributing to inclusion, excellence, and intercultural dialogue in Canada.
