If you’ve had a piercing with us, Justin would’ve explained that you’ll need to downsize to a shorter post once your piercing is ready. But what exactly does that mean, and why do we do it?
It’s simply swapping your initial jewelry for a shorter post that’s a better fit for your piercing.
We’ll give you a recommended timeframe for when to downsize, which can vary a bit depending on how your piercing is healing. Making this change at the right time is an important part of the healing process.
If you’re comfortable changing your own jewelry and know which size you need, you can do this at home. Otherwise, we offer appointments where Justin can assess how your piercing is healing and recommend the best fit for your anatomy.
And this is a pretty exciting step, too! It’s a great opportunity to change up your jewelry and start having a little more fun with your style. ✨
