Another amazing Musical Theatre Workshop is happening this weekend, March 13 & 14! It's pieces from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown - with Miss Kim.

There will be two age groups for this session - 6 - 8 year olds and 9
to 12-year-olds. Bring your friends - they don't have to be dancers at MRDC!

Purdy's is back with Easter Treats!

Help our Scholarship Fund grow. Through it we help host workshops for our dancers, provide assistance with travelling to dance events, provide a Grad Award to our graduates who have studied at Maple Ridge Dance Circle for 10 years or more, and, at times, assist talented young students who find themselves in need. The scholarship fund has funded hundreds of students over the past 35 years.

There are 2 ways to order.

You will need to enter our campaign number 000021311.

You can also enter your order on the included order form. We will accept payment by cash or cheque to the Dance Circle Scholarship Fund.
Important dates to remember:

Flexibility, Balance and Strength Floor Exercises 💪🧘‍♀️

Exercises focussing on flexibility, strength balance and coordination from a dancer’s perspective 💃✨. Gentle classes in a relaxing environment 🌿🕊️

Drop in only $5 💵 for adults currently registered, or with family members currently registered at the Dance Circle 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. $10 💲 for all others.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are ready to launch into 2026!

Many thanks to Kimberly Dyer, Jaidyn Johnston, Hallee Gibson, Naveya Murphy, and Eva Nemet who put on an excellent show at Christmas Haven on Christmas Eve. We had a great audience who were very responsive and appreciative of the wonderful performances they were treated to!

Just a few things.................

1. Open House, Sunday, January 25 - the schedule will be sent out in a day or two.

2. New Programs starting in January:

- A new series, Weekend Workshops, starts in January. These are an opportunity for children to be immersed in a dance subject for two days, followed by an in-house performance for parents. We have started by scheduling 3 Musical Theatre Weekends for 7 - 12 year olds. Please see the attached poster for more information.

- New class! Creative Movement for 3 1/2- 5 year olds - Saturdays 10:15 - 11:00. This will be a 12-week program ending in May, with an option for interested children to continue into June and participate in the year-end recital. Start date is January 17

- New for Adults! Floor Barre with Stretch and Tone. These are Fitness classes with a Ballet Core! No experience necessary. Classes will begin mid-January, starting with a Friday evening class from 5 - 6 pm and a Saturday class from 12:30 - 1:30. Adults currently enrolled in Maple Ridge Dance Circle, or who have children who are enrolled, can drop in for $5 per class; all others will be $10 drop-in or can purchase 5 classes for $40. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, and a bottle of water.

2. SAVE THE DATE- Summerstage Festival, Terry Fox Theatre, Port Coquitlam, 2 shows June 20/ Dress Rehearsal June 18 - Our 35th Anniversary year-end show!
