✨ PPSD SUMMER SPOTLIGHT — KENNEDY LAMMERS! 💙

Kennedy spent part of her summer training with Team Canada Tap! 🇨🇦

She trained at Happenings Dance Co. in Strathcona and The Dance Centre, putting in lots of extra hours preparing with Team Canada.

To make the experience even more exciting, Kennedy was selected to be part of a Team Canada Tap Trio!

All of this training is leading up to something pretty incredible… Kennedy will be heading to PRAGUE on October 16th to represent Canada!

We are so excited for Kennedy and can’t wait to cheer her on as she takes the stage with Team Canada! What an amazing opportunity to train, perform, travel, and represent your country doing something you love. 💙

✨ PPSD SUMMER SPOTLIGHT - SCARLETT, ELLA & LAURA 🩵

These three attended Groove Street Penticton this summer and absolutely loved it! 💃 Their favourite part—besides all the dancing—was taking part in the group activities and running into the lake! 🌊☀️ They also loved the photo shoot that was included 📸

And the summer training didn’t stop there!

Laura also attended the Ballet Vancouver Contemporary Intensive, continuing to challenge herself and grow in her training.

Ella & Scarlett attended Peak Performance Project at BlueCrane and they are now at fusion dance camp for the week! 

We LOVE seeing our PPSD dancers taking advantage additional training opportunities throughout the summer, learning from new teachers and trying new things.

You’re making life long memories girls!

✨ PPSD SUMMER SPOTLIGHT — BERKLEE! 🩵

Berklee had an unforgettable summer training and performing in Hollywood & Anaheim with Be Discovered — on scholarship! ✨

Over 8 incredible days, Berklee trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Latin & Hip Hop and had the opportunity to work with instructors connected to Mamma Mia!, Cirque du Soleil, and Disney! 🤩

One of the biggest highlights was getting to perform at Disneyland as part of Dance the Magic! 🏰✨ Berklee also performed an original routine to “FIFA Around the World” alongside nine dancers from Canada, the U.S. & Colombia! 🌎💃

To make the experience even more special, Berklee was selected as a standout dancer during the week and was gifted a special keepsake to remember the experience! 💙

Congratulations Berklee!

We LOVE seeing our PPSD dancers travelling, experiencing new styles, working with new teachers, meeting dancers from around the world, and making some pretty incredible memories along the way! ✨

✨ PPSD SUMMER SPOTLIGHT — MADELYN! 🩵

Madelyn has had an incredible summer filled with training, travel, and LOTS of dancing! ✈️💃✨

She spent a week in New York City attending the Joffrey Ballet Pre-Professional Jazz & Contemporary Intensive, where she trained 8 hours a day! In just one week, Madelyn learned so much and had the opportunity to challenge herself in an inspiring new environment.

In July, she attended the Ballet Vancouver Contemporary Intensive, spending four days training with Josh Beamish and continuing to grow in her contemporary training.

Madelyn also participated in the Team Canada Tap Boot Camp! 🇨🇦👞

And because there’s always time for MORE dancing… on another trip to New York while her brother was training at Joffrey, Madelyn squeezed in a Broadway tap class with Ray Hesselink! 🤩

She’s hoping to finish off an already jam-packed summer with Fusion Dance Camp next week!

✨ PPSD SUMMER SPOTLIGHT — ETHAN! 🩵

Ethan has had one incredible summer of training!

He kicked off July by spending a week training at the Ballet Vancouver Contemporary Intensive, diving into a full week of contemporary training.

Just two days later, Ethan hopped on a plane and headed all the way to New York City to attend the Joffrey Ballet Jazz & Contemporary Intensive!

For two weeks, Ethan spent an incredible 9 HOURS A DAY dancing and training alongside dancers and instructors in NYC. He finished off the experience with something pretty unforgettable, performing on Broadway! 🤩

And he’s not done yet! Ethan is hoping to wrap up his summer with even more training at Fusion Dance Camp.

What a summer, Ethan!

We love seeing our PPSD dancers taking advantage of opportunities to train outside the studio, experience new environments and continue pushing themselves as artists. 🩵
