Mitchell came to WildPlay with three generations of family - and he wasn’t staying on the ground.
He and his wife spent around two and a half hours working through the Adventure Course at their own pace.
His verdict? “Can’t wait til next year.”
Adventure doesn’t belong to the youngest person in the family.

For World Mental Health Day, I’ve been thinking about the different ways it shows up at WildPlay.
Supporting mental health has always been part of what we do.
For 20 years, Naked Bungy has helped raise money for Mental Health Recovery Partners, South Island. And beyond that event, so much of what we do is about getting people outside, trying something hard, stepping outside their comfort zone and realizing they're capable of more than they thought.

I’ve struggled with my own mental health, and I’m proud to work somewhere where it’s taken seriously. I can take a mental health day when I need one & know it's okay.
Adventure obviously isn’t a magic fix. But getting outside, moving, playing and trying something new can be a pretty darn good place to start.

I’m especially grateful to be part of a place that supports mental health in our community AND within our own teams.
Now go touch some grass and listen to what your brain and body need today.
