Please note that the Madoc Agricultural Society’s monthly meeting scheduled for tonight at 7:00 p.m. has been moved to the Madoc Fairgrounds. 🌟 Calling All Young Leaders! 🌟

The Madoc Fair Ambassador Program and Competition is looking for enthusiastic young adults who want to represent the Madoc Fair, develop valuable life skills, and become involved in their community!

As a Madoc Fair Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to:
✅ Build confidence and public speaking skills
✅ Meet new people and make lasting friendships
✅ Represent the Madoc Fair at local events and provincial competition
✅ Develop leadership and community involvement experience
✅ Promote agriculture and our local fair tradition

Who Can Apply?
📌 Open to youth 17 years of age and older, must be 17 by August 1st, 2026
📌 Interested in community involvement, agriculture, and personal growth
📌 No previous experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to participate!

Whether you’re looking to gain experience, challenge yourself, or become a proud ambassador for your community, this program is a rewarding opportunity.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Madoc Lions Club for welcoming representatives from the Madoc Agricultural Society to speak about our Ambassador Program and this year’s fair.

Thank you to Darla Downey, Ambassador Director, and Fred Fleming, Media Director, for representing the Society and sharing information about the program and all the opportunities it provides for local youth.

We would also like to thank the Madoc Lions Club for their generous sponsorship and continued support in helping encourage and empower youth in our community. Your support helps keep important programs like the Ambassador Program thriving and gives young people valuable opportunities to grow, learn, and get involved.

Somewhere out there is a kid who will remember your fair for the rest of his life.

He won't care where the midway was parked.

He won't care whether the livestock barn moved.

He won't remember the budget meetings, the volunteer shortages, the weather scares, the 47 emotional breakdowns in the ticket booth.

He'll remember the lights coming on at dusk. The first taste of a mini donut. The animal he got to pet for the first time. The feeling of being somewhere where everyone showed up to make something good happen.

That kid is who you're building it for.

Not the guy in the coffee shop who hasn't been in 20 years.

🌾🌾 LOOKING FOR HELP 🌾🌾

Madoc Fair Grounds needs regular maintenance, specifically grass cutting.Sadly our volunteer of many decades can no longer care for our grounds. We are looking for suggestions, volunteers, and equipment—anything that can keep the grounds tidy affordably.

Please contact Ryan Wood or Mitch Langevin if you have any suggestions.

Our team is awesome, but not big! We welcome volunteers.
