Happy Canada Day All! I have some exciting news to share with you today. After lots of discussion and planning I am so excited to announce the Fly Away Home Music Festival which will be held Saturday, September 12 at the Madoc Arts Centre Hastings outdoor park. We have some great things planned for the day and some unbelievable all Canadian musical talent lined up! More details and ticket info are to follow in the coming weeks but save the date! A past Music in Madoc musician and one of my favourite Canadian artists, Peter Katz, has just released a new fundraising campaign for his upcoming album. He'll go for a run with you, bake you a loaf of bread or write you a personal song. Or, you could just pre-order a CD.
