As we enter our 34th year of teaching, our instructors are as excited as ever to get this season started. Our studio is located in downtown Madoc, bringing in dancers of all ages from the communities within the Centre Hastings area. Our instructors provide a safe, disciplined, and most of all FUN environment for your child. Your child deserves the best, whether they are dancing for fun, exams or c

ompetition! We currently offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical/Modern Jazz, and Acro. Young dancers gain grace, poise, self confidence and flexibility in our classes. They benefit from muscle building and toning, fitness and self discipline. Classes consist of warm up, stretching, strengthening and muscle memory that helps a dancer become strong and injury free. Children enjoy their commitment to our dance program and the experience of performing. All of our classes will prepare students for the spring recital, but also teach them team work and dedication. We look forward to another great season with all of our dancers!

No partner required. Focus on footwork, ochos, giros and the precision that makes TANGO unmistakable!

Free and Open to all levels, ages 12+
One day only! Low-heeled shoes or soft dance shoes, optional.

INTERNATIONAL GUEST TEACHER:

Alla Rosa Aptekman — Chicago, IL, USA

Alla has spent a lifetime in conversation with movement. She began as a girl in Ukraine in the 1950s and '60s, training in ballet, and has been dancing through life ever since. She made her home in Chicago, where she taught tango for years, and now, in her seventies, she travels the world to keep dancing tango and milonga with the same spark and lightness in her step as the girl who first learned to move. From Argentina to Spain, France to Canada, and across the United States, she follows tango wherever its complexity, passion, and rhythm lead her.
