As we wrap up the 59th year of the Mabou Ceilidh Days, we're feeling incredibly grateful.

Grateful for Mabou and the surrounding communities. Grateful for the volunteers who show up year after year, and for the new faces who jump in and lend a hand. Grateful for everyone who comes out to attend, cheer, dance, eat, and help make the festival what it is.

Though the festival officially wrapped up yesterday, we've still got so much to share. ❤️

One of yesterday's sweetest moments was welcoming Ella Cummings to the Teddy Bear Picnic for a special reading of her book, *The Hobby Horse*.

The beautiful setting at MacMillan's Farm made the perfect stage for storytime, and we were so glad Ella could make the trip to Cape Breton for the occasion. 🧸📖

The duck race is on, and we're friggin' pumped! Last minute sales can happen down in Glendyer if you're the gamblin' type. Also, if coming for the book reading and picnic, it's a good idea to take a chair or blanket so you can be more comfy. See you there real soon!
