The countdown is on! 🎉

Mabou Ceilidh Days 2026 is shaping up to be a great few days, with everything from boat rides and live music to family events, dances, healthy competition, and plenty of opportunities to catch up with old friends and make a few new ones.

This year's theme, Hometown Pride: Rooted in Farming, Fishing, and Forestry, celebrates the industries and hardworking people who helped shape our community and continue to play an important role today. 🚜⚓🌲

And while you're making plans for the weekend, don't forget about the Raymond de Bont Memorial Community Spirit Award! Break out the red and white, hang those lights, fly your flags, and help us show off the pride that makes Mabou such a special place. ❤️🤍

🎄✨ Christmas in the Village is back and bigger and better than ever!

Join us in Mabou on December 5th from 5 to 9 PM for an evening filled with festive music, community cheer, and holiday magic.

Enjoy a visit with Santa on his fire truck, hot chocolate, candy canes, caroling, hot cider, BBQ hot dogs, and more. A new feature this year is the Festival of Trees at Mabou Parish Hall, sure to add even more sparkle to the night. ✨

This event is presented by Mabou Development, and we are happy to help spread the word.

Let's all get together and celebrate the season in festive fashion! 🎅🌟

The Mabou Ceilidh committee met for the first time since the festival last night and while we’re already planning now for next July, there was still some unfinished business to attend to. 🏆

The two-time champion Beaton clan handed over the goods to the Brook Village crew in this official ceremony with the anchor man himself Michael Van Zutphen accepting the award. Cheers to the champs!! See ya back there soon enough in 2026.

Were you at Trivia Night on Monday? If not, you missed a doozie! Carrie and Jackie pulled out all the stops with an all-Canadian theme, a special cocktail for the night, and surprise video questions from local legends, politicians (thanks, Tim Houston!), and even folks from home now living away.

So much fun! And we have to share these gems from Mabou’s own Peter MacInnis. One more good laugh can’t hurt! 😂
