What a beautiful day on the Shunpike!

A heartfelt thank you to the more than 200 wonderful people who wandered the winding backroads, stepped through studio doors, shared conversations, supported local creatives, and made this year’s event such a success.

Art found new homes, stories were exchanged, connections were made, and our creative community was celebrated in the very best way.

Each year we learn a little more about how to show up as artists, makers, coordinators, volunteers, and supporters. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible—from our participants and volunteers to every single person who chose to spend part of their day exploring with us.

Thank you for being part of the South Shore Shunpike.

Shunpike Road Trip Packing List (12°C in June Edition)

☑️ A toque. It’s June on the coast. Trust the locals.

☑️ Layers. You’ll be too warm, then too cold, then just right, then too cold again.

☑️ A rain jacket, because Atlantic weather loves a plot twist.

☑️ Sunglasses for the seven minutes of brilliant sunshine.

☑️ Comfortable shoes for wandering stops, wharves, and places you never planned to stop.

☑️ Cash for antiques, artwork, baked goods, roadside treasures, and the thing you absolutely weren’t planning to buy.

☑️ A reusable tote bag. You’ll need it.

☑️ A fully charged phone for photos of beautiful views, beautiful art, and beautiful food.

☑️ A friend who doesn’t mind stopping every five minutes because, “Wait… look at that!”

☑️ Curiosity, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to wander off the beaten path.

Most Important Item:

☑️ No schedule.
