Still smiling after seeing the Being Scene exhibition featured on CP24 yesterday 💛
As an artist with lived experience, it means so much to be part of an exhibition that celebrates the creativity, resilience, and stories of mad, Deaf, disabled, and lived-experience artists.
This year has already been filled with blessings. My piece Oju Olorun V found its forever home on opening night, and now seeing Being Scene receive this kind of media attention reminds me why spaces like this matter.
Thank you to Workman Arts for continuing to create opportunities for artists to share our truths, challenge perceptions, and connect through art.
And thank you to everyone who has supported my journey, whether in person, online, or quietly from afar. I see you and I appreciate you.
