Clayworx is a charitable arts organization, offering exceptional education programs in ceramic arts for all ages, a shared clay studio space for artists, and exciting community-building experiences with clay. Handcrafted pottery, made by our studio members, can be purchased in our store - whether as a gift or your own personal treasure. Support the local artists here in London.

Step into the past and experience the art of ancient pottery at the Museum of Ontario Archaeology’s Medway Heritage Festival!

Join us on Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn about early pottery techniques and explore traditional firing methods. This interactive experience is perfect for beginners, families, and anyone curious about how pottery was made thousands of years ago!

Each participant will have the opportunity to select and customize TWO pre-made pots by adding combustibles and placing them into the pit for firing. Resulting in an organic atmospheric surface!

Return Sunday June 14th 10 am-12 pm to unload your pot from the pit! You’ll also receive a cleaning and polishing kit, along with care instructions, so you can enjoy your finished piece at home.
