This weekend I am teaching a paste paper class in London ON. The class is nearly full, but registration is still open (even though the image says otherwise.) Making paste paper is a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to meeting new people and seeing the beautiful papers everyone creates. Come and join us!

This drawing was begun in 2006 when I had a one year old son and a 4 year old daughter. It was finished in 2019. By that time I had two more children and some very full years.
The thing that really held me back was the snake. I tried different ways of drawing the scales, but wasn't happy. In between the busy family, thinking about what to do, and different attempts, I put it aside for a couple years. When I finally pulled it out again to git-r-done I was shocked to see that I had already completed the snake! That was a pleasant surprise (and a reminder to spend more time drawing rather than thinking).
