Forest City Music Festival

Forest City Music Festival The Festival is a fun way for students of variety of genres and styles to gain performance experience as well as constructive feedback on their playing.

There will be solo competitions held for Piano, Guitar, Bass, Voice, Drums, Violin and Rock Band for students of any age from primer level to grade 10. What makes this Festival extra unique are the wide varieties of styles and genres that can be performed, selected by the student, including conservatory material, rock, pop, jazz or broadway as well as any material from other method books. All stud

ents will receive valuable written comments and feedback from the adjudicator and top marks will be awarded medals. There will also be scholarship opportunities for first place winners for some categories. Top students will be asked to perform again for the chance to win a monetary award.
