We did it!
The Victoria Carter London Dance Centre celebrated its 70th birthday on April 25, 2026, with our annual recital at the Paul Davenport Theatre at UWO. The children and students enthusiastically enjoyed the opportunity to showcase the skills they had worked so hard for throughout the season.
The staff is very appreciative of the warm support of the audience, parents, family & friends who supported the performers caringly.
It was a great delight to see many former students at the performance in support of the studio. Up to three generations of 'Carter' graduates attended. So many of the former students & their families came backstage after the performance to visit & reminisce with staff & classmates of the past. The excitement & kind affection were felt by all. We all laughed with enjoyment as the many stories and moments from former recitals and classroom memories were excitedly recounted backstage. Old acquaintances were rekindled, with many visiting from out of town. It was wonderful to experience the sincere attention of visitors from past decades. It seemed as though they had been dancing yesterday, not forty years or more ago.
