We do any and all things funny, improv, sketches, stand up, goofs, you name it! We've had a dedicated group of comedians for years now, and hold weekly improv meetings with anywhere from twenty to fifty people! Meeting Time: Mondays 7-9pm
Join us for fun nights of improv! We'll be playing games and building skills every week so no experience is required to join in the fun. The club performs quite
a few improv shows a year, and YOU can be part of them! We will be picking troupes 3 weeks before each of our big shows, and with the right combination of diligence, determination, and dashing-ness you could be up performing on the stage! We also do additional shows throughout the year as charitable organizations on campus ask for the UWO Comedy Club to participate. So if you're interested in improving for an audience, make sure we know! Meeting Time: Thursdays 7-9pm
Do you love SNL, Kids in the Hall, or Monty Python? Have you ever wanted to write your own sketches? Come on out Wednesday meetings where we will discuss comedy writing techniques, brainstorm ideas and workshop your scripts so they are packed full of funny for our Sketch Comedy Show in March! Meeting Time: Same day as sketch, 7-9pm
If you've ever had the urge to stand up and tell your very own jokes, come out to our Wednesday night meetings and show us your material! We'll give you pointers on delivery, timing, and offer critiques on your writing. We'll be doing stand-up shows in the Spoke, so stay tuned for more info on when those nights will be. We will also be holding additional Saturday meetings once or twice a month for extra improv or stand-up comedy time. Also, you can join our internal group and chat with members about your favorite types of comedy, cast your plays and short films from among our members, or organize groups to check out funny stuff around town! https://www.facebook.com/groups/251431241652124/
