So how open to suggestions are you?
This past Saturday I was Dj/Mcing a Scouts Canada event called "Rover Snow Moot" (17 - 26 yr old) and about an hour and a half into the dance, one of the young folks at the dance told me he brought a record player and wondered if I wanted to try it.

Considering that's how I started in the business, I thought "sure, let's see what you brought?". WOW, this young man of 21 yrs of age brought about 20 LP's and we were able to patch his turntable into my digital system and what an absolute blast it was.

I told the crowd that we were going to give this a try and they ate it up. I asked my new friend Kyle Marsolais Rawson to stay and help me. We used it going back and forth for the rest of the night!
It was so much fun and it brought back so many awesome memories!
Time to hit Ebay!!

It's been a while since my last update. It's been very interesting so far this year with some family challenges and just this week a few personal health challenges. But I did want to share something from the last event I did on the 18th of January.
I was asked to MC and DJ a 10th Anniversary Celebration Gala for a local Holistic practice in Oakville Ont.. My very good friend Eleanor Hayward (pictured in the elegant blue dress beside me) Is a RMT and Holistic practitioner.
The evening went amazing and there was live entertainment from a group "Trouble and Daughter" who were one of the highlights of the evening.
Here is some of an email to me from Eleanor:

We have a busy month coming up. Christmas parties like crazy and even a firefighters graduation which I and really looking forward to as one of the grads is my nephew!! Let the holiday festivities begin!!

What a week end planned!! Halloween Party on Friday night, ( with a neat surprise), a baseball banquet on Saturday and then Sunday we start setting up for a BIG Halloween Party on Nov. 2nd!! Can't wait to share the surprise but i can't tell you now!! Stay tuned and I'll get pictures!!
