Reliving the “Good Old Days”! On Saturday, LAA held the first workshop, “The Medium is the Message”. Our instructor, Kevin Bice, asked us to bring old family photos and one or two old objects related to the people in those photos. The workshop explored the range of creative tools available to express the ideas and feelings arising from the photos and objects.
A fulfilling day of art and friendship!

“I’ve got nothing to do today but smile”! LAA member Carole Marson is all smiles after her two entries into The Western Fair were awarded first place ribbons in both watercolour and mixed media (ink and watercolour).
By the way… the quote at the beginning are lyrics by Paul Simon and happens to be Carole’s unique way of ending her emails. Congratulations Carole and keep smiling!
