Amazing! LAA artist Andrea Berger is this month’s guest artist at “gathered” gallery, a heritage building located in picturesque Sparta. Andrea’s colourful collection of canvases are a feast for the eyes. The exhibit will be on display until the end of the month. Let’s go!

SCAM ALERT. Several members have received an email with the following message: "I recently discovered your artwork on LAA and was truly impressed by it. I’d love to learn more about your pieces and find out if you have any works currently available." It is a scam. Do not open or respond. If it was legit, they would have mentioned a specific piece or at least your subject matter or media.

Today’s going to be a great day! Relax and enjoy “Morning Essence”, a watercolour painting by artist Yunha Park. This was another ribbon winner at our Art Show & Sale. Here are the juror’s comments:

This watercolour expertly captures an atmosphere of calm and seclusion. Unpainted sections matter as much as the delicate trees and their ghosts. This serious demonstration of painting craftsmanship attends to both wash and opaque applications of pigments. I yearn to hike into this equally misty and mystical landscape.
