Reuben and the Dark return to the Aeolian on October 20th!

For more than a decade, Reuben and the Dark has become one of Canada’s most distinctive voices in modern folk and indie rock, building a catalogue of songs that blur the line between intimate confession and communal anthem. There are just a few days left to get your tickets to Clark Bryan's concert, Discovering the World at the Piano!

What began as a personal recording project grew into an exploration of thousands of piano works from every corner of the globe. This recital is a reflection of that journey.
The programme travels across countries, cultures, and generations with remarkable works that deserve to be heard far more often. Each piece offers a glimpse into a different musical landscape, revealing how the piano has become a universal language through which stories, traditions, and identities are expressed.

A portion of the proceeds from this concert will go towards El Sistema Aeolian, a free, after-school music program for children and youth.

Over the past six years, a remarkable journey has unfolded. What began as a personal recording project grew into an exploration of thousands of piano works from every corner of the globe. Along the way came unexpected discoveries: forgotten composers whose music had fallen silent, extraordinary voic...
