Here's how to do it the RIGHT way:

📌 Follow tutorial exactly for best processes and repeatable steps
📌 Do not add aditional steps that are not necessary- these cut into your profit margin
📌 Use a blind hem stitch for dress pants — hand sewing invisible hems eats your profit margin and professionalism

Most people starting out undercharge because they're not sure what the work is worth. Let's fix that right now.

Here's the REAL breakdown:

I have found that charging $1 per minute is a fair fee when paired with standard task completion times. For example most basic pant hems (1/2" topstitch, 1" topstitch or blind hem) should take no more than 15 minutes. Therefore, charge $15.

At $15 per hem, your hourly income is $60/hour.

Your skills are WORTH the professional rate. Charging less doesn't attract better clients — it just burns you out.
