We’re thrilled to share that free skate rentals and protective gear will be available at Skate & Bounce tonight, Saturday, August 23, from 6–9 PM at Victoria Park, on a first-come, first-served basis 🛼🛼

This is made possible by the generosity of our community donors, whose contributions laid the foundation, and the incredible support of , who are donating the remaining balance.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who gave and shared along the way. A special thank you to for helping us keep this event free and welcoming for all.

DJs and will be providing the soundtrack for our last bounce of the summer. We can’t wait to roll with you tonight!!!!

This Saturday, August 23, from 6–9 PM, DJs and will be spinning the best in boogie, funk, soul, and R&B.

Whether you’re on skates, the dance floor, or just soaking in the scene, this is your space to move, connect, and simply enjoy.

So let’s get down, party people. Bring your fine selves, your skates, your dance shoes, your friends, your family, pack a picnic if you like, and help us close out our last Bounce of the season 🛼🌺

We’re still fundraising to bring free skate rentals and protective gear to next Saturday’s Skate & Bounce.

Our goal is $3,125 to partner with , a mobile skate rental company, and cover the full cost for August 23.

This ensures everyone can join in, whether or not they own skates or protective gear (helmets, wrist pads, elbow pads, knee pads).

What is The Exchange?

Each month, we explore a theme through a creative medium - like music, literature, visual art, or storytelling.

We announce the topic and medium in advance, and then we gather in circle to share, reflect, and listen.

Rooted in curiosity, care, and cultural expression. The Exchange is a space to connect deeply with yourself and others.

This month we’re partnering with .519 to discuss Radical Existence through a medium of your choice.

What does it mean to live without apology?
To take up space, to soften, to resist being reduced?
How do you define freedom? What does it look like to choose yourself again and again?

Each month, The Exchange explores a theme through a selected artistic medium. For August, OA(SIS) is partnering with .519 to gather under the theme Radical Existence and this time, the medium is yours to choose. Bring whatever form feels most honest to you.

This month’s Exchange is a call to remember, reclaim, and resist - a living archive of q***r memory and cultural resilience. Together, we’ll explore what it means to exist radically: in your truth, in your body, and in your own time.

What does it mean to live without apology?
To take up space, to soften, to resist being reduced?
How do you define freedom? What does it look like to choose yourself again and again?

Bring a piece that speaks to your experience- a work of art, an archive, a sound, a photo, a fragment of text, a movement, or a moment.

We gather to share, to be seen, and to remind one another that presence itself can be a form of resistance.

Come with something in hand — or come as you are, and find the words together.
