🫶🐈JASPER FUNDRAISER🐈🫶

As per my previous post, Jasper was recently diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head also known as Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease.

I have made Jasper Magnets to help fundraise money to go towards Jasper's FHO surgery. Through this surgical procedure, it is aimed to restore pain-free mobility of his diseased/damaged hip that he was born with by removing the head and neck of the femur (the long leg bone or thighbone).

Again, both Jasper and I thank you all for your kind words and support. It's greatly appreciated at this time🥹❤️

Usually I don't post personal things on here, but I wanted to explain the meaning behind the next crochet item that will be posted for sale.

Unfortunately Jasper was diagnosed this past Thursday with Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head also known as Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease. This has gone unnoticed until now.

Pretty much what that is disfiguration of his Femoral head which he was unfortunately born with. You might ask how this is bothering him now. Well, it never bothered him until recently while I was at work, he must have fallen on his back leg wrong and made things so much worse.

He's in severe pain, he can barely walk - only limp wherever he needs to go. He can't even sit/lay properly without growling in pain. He's a trooper but still requires a lot of pain medication to keep him comfortable until I can afford whichever of the two options I have. Unfortunately given having to spend over $1400 back in Feb/Mar for his urinary issue and another $400 on Thursday, between this and cost of living - I'm financially exhausted. He'll be turning 2 years old in July. He's such a good little boy who deserves the best.

With that being said, I don't know how much longer his pain will be manageable and will have to make a decision very soon realistically. Jasper and I will be working on crochet Jasper magnets to try to raise whatever we can to help him in whichever way will be possible. In his case the only options available are a $4000ish surgery that might help him or euthanization.

Stay tuned, I should have the magnets tomorrow and finish putting them together then.
