Born in Quebec, I moved to Ontario in 1980 with my job for a major Telecommunications company. I have always dabbled in art, in particular using oils, acrylics for many years with no formal training. Because of my work, I was not able to keep up with my Passion full time. I never touched a paint brush for 20 years.
However, I always studied part time, while working and initially getting myself into a Bachelor of ARTS in Psychology and Fine Arts with the University of Toronto, and because of work I never finished. I then went to the Ontario College of Arts to take two years of Figure Drawing, Mixed Media, and Colour Theory.
In 2010, I changed careers, ( some call it retirement) I decided to return to my passion full time. I finally graduated with Bachelor of Arts General from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2015 at the age of 75. At this time the only media that I did not experience was Watercolour, so I accepted the challenge and took Watercolour courses at the Venice Art Centre in Venice Florida from an reowned Watercolour Artist Nancy Colby, who is known as a Purist at the Venice Art Centre in Venice Florida. I have continued in Watercolour for the past 10 years. It goes to show that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. Hugs everyone
