To our many friends and customers:
The time has come for us to pass the Palmerston Home Hardware torch to new dealer/owners. Brad Matthews and Cassy Ruppel will become the new face of Palmerston Home Hardware on July 20th. Cassy’s mom owned the Elmira Home Hardware for 20 plus years, and both Cassy and Brad have much experience managing and working with the myriad details needed to be successful. We encourage all of you to continue to support them as you have supported us during our nearly 16 years here at our Palmerston Home Hardware “home”. It’s not without mixed feelings and emotions that we have made this decision, and finally an announcement regarding the change. You’re not just our customers…..you are our friends, and we deeply appreciate the many ways you have supported us, either by shopping with us or simply dropping by for a visit and a chat. And none of what we have accomplished could have been done without our staff who have worked along with us over those 16 years. Your help has been, and will continue to be, greatly appreciated. And you will continue to see them at the store as they work along with Brad and Cassy following the changeover. You will see Cassy and Brad begin to appear at the store some time prior to July 20th as we help them with the transition into their new role as dealer/owners. Make sure when you see them to take a moment to introduce yourself and welcome them to Palmerston.
Wendy and I are not going anywhere. Palmerston continues to be our home in every way, and we look forward to the next chapter in our lives. You have blessed us in many, many ways, and we thank you with the deepest of gratitude!
Wendy and Terry
