The Muddy Paws Wine Trail presents a unique opportunity to celebrate excellent wine and food in the Niagara Benchlands with FOUR pawsome wineries.

Your hosts ensure will ensure a wagging good time your best canine friend! Celebrate excellent wine and food in Niagara — and bring along your best four-legged friend. The Muddy Paws Wine Festival is an awesome paws-friendly weekend in July. It’s a one of a kind occasion for award-winning wineries Vineland Estates Winery and Featherstone Estate Winery to open their doors to dog lovers and their well-behaved dogs on leash.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your four-legged best friends to Featherstone this weekend for a tail-wagging good time filled with dogs, wine, food, local vendors, and plenty of puppy cuddles. 🍷🐶

Once again, will be joining us at Muddy Paws with Karen’s famous Barrel Room Sessions at Featherstone Winery.

These limited-edition portraits have become a Muddy Paws tradition for dog lovers across Niagara. Moody lighting, stunning winery backdrops, and a chance to capture your dog’s personality in a way your phone camera never could.

Whether your pup is dignified, goofy, mischievous, or all three, Karen has a way of bringing it to life through her lens.

📸 Sessions must be booked in advance and spots fill quickly.
Because the only thing better than memories from the best weekend ever... is having a portrait to prove it.

Due to scheduling changes, Muddy Paws will now be hosted exclusively at Featherstone Estate Winery on June 13 & 14.

We’re excited to bring everyone together in one location for a weekend of dogs, wine, food, local vendors, and plenty of tail wags.

Existing ticket holders have been contacted directly with details regarding their tickets and available options.

Leaning Post Wines 🍷🐕

Another new Muddy Paws addition! Tiny batch wines. Big fancy reputation. Extremely sniffable atmosphere.

Leaning Post is one of Niagara’s most acclaimed boutique wineries, known for making seriously good wines without being weird about it. Their wines have ended up in top restaurants around the world which is impressive considering I once ate a napkin.

For Muddy Paws they’ll be pouring: 🍇 Gamay ✨ Pétillant Natural
Paired with: 🧀 Halloumi Hound Crostini grilled halloumi topped with tomato eggplant jam + pickled vegetables

Basically… your humans get wine and snacks while you work the crowd for extra attention and accidental crostini drops.

A perfect system really.

These humans make wine, mead AND honey which honestly feels ambitious but impressive.

Rooted in generations of beekeeping and known for their cozy farm vibes, Rosewood is bringing the snacks and the puppy photo ops this year.

For Muddy Paws they’ll be pouring: 🍷 Looking Glass 🐇 White Rabbit

Paired with: 🧀 cheddar & bacon hush puppies with dijonaise + pickles

PLUS: 📸 dog photo booth 🐕 adoptable dogs from the Niagara SPCA

A winery built on generations of grape growing, award-winning wines, and one very important employee: Brix Bravo, Director of Barketing.

For Muddy Paws they’ll be pouring: 🍷 Baco Noir 🍋 Riesling Loved By Lu

Paired with: 🌭 grilled dawgs topped with corn chowder, tomato salsa + grated cheese

PLUS: 🐕 a dog obstacle course 🎶 live music all weekend

This stop is basically summer camp for wine dogs.

Honestly this place has everything: wine, dogs, burgers, music, vineyard views… probably at least one golden retriever laying directly in the walkway.

🐾 ATTENTION DOG PEOPLE 🐾

Muddy Paws Wine Trail is back June 13–14 and this year we’re raising money for the very good boys and girls who still need homes. 🐶❤️

10% of all ticket sales will be donated to , helping support rescue animals across our community. So while you’re sipping wine, eating snacks, and letting your dog drag you winery to winery… you’re also doing something pretty pawsitive.

Sniff your way through four wineries with wine + food pairings, local pet vendors, treats, belly rubs, and excellent opportunities for humans to embarrass themselves talking in baby voices to strangers’ dogs.

🎟️ $100 Full Weekend Pass NEW this year: Single Winery Passes are available too for a smaller sip-and-stroll adventure.
