As a businesswoman with over 34 years in Lethbridge, I have personally relied on Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services. I have witnessed firsthand how they save lives and protect our community.
These services are not optionalโ€”they are essential. We need continued, fully funded emergency services. If this is being framed as a money issue, I ask a simple question: how much would you pay to save the life of someone you love if immediate response made the difference?
We cannot afford to lose or weaken this critical service. Lives, businesses, and our entire community depend on it.

Thank you to the First Responders, especially as this issue is raised for the Fire and Emergency Services for being there in the past and we NEED your services present and future. Vicky Vanden Hoek
