🎭 Looking for an activity your child will LOVE this fall?

Our Sessional Musical Theatre classes are the perfect way for young performers to discover the magic of the stage—without committing to a full year or full production! ✨

Over the session, students will:
🎤 Learn musical theatre vocal technique
💃 Build confidence through fun choreography
🎭 Develop acting and storytelling skills
❤️ Make new friends in a welcoming, encouraging environment

Whether your child is already singing around the house or has never stepped on stage before, they’ll build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and performance skills week after week.

And don’t be surprised if they catch the musical theatre bug… because once they experience the excitement of performing, they may never want to stop! ❤️

We can hardly believe we’re heading into our SIXTH season! 🖤 Thank you for being part of this incredible community — and we’re so excited for everything we have planned this upcoming year!

📣 Registration will be done a little differently this season:

On June 8th at 10:00am, a registration link will be posted in our Facebook and Instagram bio AND shared to our Instagram stories so everyone interested has access to the link at the same time!

⚡ Classes will be filled on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis once registration opens, so be ready!

✨ Meet Our Choreographer for “The Wizard of Oz” 🌈✨

We are so excited to introduce *Miss Katie* our choreographer for this season’s production of “The Wizard of Oz”💚👠

“Miss Katie has been dancing for 22 years, training in a wide variety of styles including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and musical theatre. After high school, she apprenticed under Miss Georgie at Danceworks Dance Academy, and has been teaching her own classes since 2010.

She took time away from teaching to complete her university degree in Kinesiology, and to welcome her two babies to her family, and has been back teaching and choreographing at Danceworks since 2019.

Miss Katie is incredibly honoured to be working with Rising Star on this exciting production”

We are beyond thrilled to have her creativity, passion, and expertise leading our dancers down the yellow brick road! 🌈✨
