Help Vías complete the last phase of its new creation, Flesh and Sound: an immersive, transdisciplinary performance and art installation that blends the sonic study of pre-Hispanic instruments with contemporary dance.

It was a pleasure to have Ami Shulman in the studio last week as artistic advisor for "Flesh and Sound"! Ami is a Rehearsal Director at the GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. She has choreographed for the National Theatre of London; the Shakespeare Theatre Company; Mouvement Perpetuel and has co-created works with the Cirque Du Soleil; the National Ballet of Canada and Ballet BC. Ami performed with Compagnie Marie Chouinard, Compagnie Flak and the DanceOn Ensemble, Berlin and has taught throughout Europe, Canada and the USA including for the Juilliard School; Jacob’s Pillow; BANFF Centre for the Arts; CODARTS; Tanzfabriek; Staatstheatre Kassel; B12 and is an Artistic Associate of the Springboard Project Montreal/New York. Ami co-authored for the anthology Back to the Dance Itself and has written articles on enactive cognition in the pedagogy of embodied mathematics. She is a certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner.

[EN] Last month I had the enormous privilege of working at to produce a very special live show which I will eventually share with all of you. This picture depicts one of my favourite moments of the performance when I’m breathing into a , infusing life into every moment of the present. This music show is a visual symphony that resonates with vitality, inspiring us all to embrace our own limitless potential.
It was an honour working by the side of very talented artists such as , , .abrahamercado, .am.siam, , and Benoit Lariviere. This was all possible thanks to the support of and ! Thank you!

Esta imagen muestra uno de mis momentos favoritos del show cuando estoy tocando un con mis intenciones más puras. The instrument setup and stage design was made with his marvellous help, always paying close attention to the movement of the body and the interaction with the instruments and the stage.
