Our artists and craftspeople are eagerly awaiting your arrival, and we can’t wait to welcome you to the Surfside Studio Tour!

Join us today, Sunday, September 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and enjoy a special day exploring the work, studios, and creative spaces of 28 talented artists across 17 stops.

Whether you’re discovering new artists, meeting makers, watching demonstrations, or simply enjoying the tour, we hope you have an amazing time!

We get it—and we’ve got you covered!
We invite you to come out and tour our artists’ studios over a full day, with 17 unique stops along the route. Many of our artists welcome you with drinks and snacks, and we know that some of you travel quite a distance to join us.
This year, we’re making your day a little more comfortable by incorporating washroom options along the route. Public washrooms are marked on our map, and two of our participating artists are also hosting porta-potties at their locations: Stop #2 and Stop #13.

You can take your time, enjoy the studios, meet the artists, and make a full day of it—without having to worry about finding a washroom when you need one!

A big thank-you to Expert Flush for helping us provide this service and making the studio tour a little more comfortable for everyone.

In true rural Nova Scotia fashion, let's talk about the weather.

The weather forecast is predicting wind and cloud cover on Sunday. You know what that means? Peak wave watching for one thing. 🌊😍

Surfside Studio Tour is a rain or shine event. Why? Because a little (or sometimes a lot of) wind, cloud or rain is part of life along the coast. Come experience the coast as it really often is, and understand the wild, moody beauty that has inspired so much of our artists’ work.

But also, let's all collectively hope for full sun on Sunday.
